Paharakeke Trades United is a Trade Hub started in April 2022 that serves to Promote and Support Trades and Businesses local to Paharakeke (Flaxmere).
The PTU started was Founded by 2 Business Owners – Tui Smith from “Everlast Roofing” and Andy Winitana from “iScaffold Aotearoa” both Hailing from Flaxmere.
Learn MoreIn April 2022 a Meeting was Called between HDC (Hastings District Council) and the Trade Businesses in Flaxmere to discuss the Developments that were planned for Flaxmere in 2022-2025, Tui Smith started the movement by requesting that meeting and notifying the Local of its existence via a video.
Once the meeting took place Andy and Tui both agreed with Council that a group approach to the developments would offer an easier way for the developers to communicate with the local trades, hence the PTU was created.
